Mild traumatic brain injury is strange. It is a condition that doesn’t make any sense to most people, and for good reason. I’m living it, and it still doesn’t make sense.
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve had some other pretty big reality checks. I’ve known all along that these would be issues, but I really just thought over time I would be getting so much better that they would become less of a concern.
Several people have told me, “I could never run that far.” In a lot of cases, this just isn’t true.
